Autumn Thoughts and Updates (2024)
Hello Patients and Friends,
Hooray for October and cooler weather as we head towards the holiday season and the end of 2024. I hope this message finds all of you well and enjoying good dental health!
Some of you are already aware of some small changes around the office. Tina, who has worked at our front desk for many years, is now helping out our back office staff as a Dental Assistant. Tina started her career in dentistry 30 years ago as a chairside assistant before moving into administrative roles, and she is getting a kick out of relearning techniques and materials after so many years.
You will continue to see Jennifer and Trina in the front office when you come in for appointments, and Christina, Jackie and Jessica in the back helping our appointments run smoothly. Christina got her Expanded Functions license (RDAEF2) over a year ago and has been a huge asset in helping Dr. Hanschu and myself complete treatment for patients in a timelier manner.
Joyce, Stephanie, Michele and Manda are our hygienists and work very hard every day to help make patients comfortable, educate about proper dental hygiene and keep your teeth and mouths as healthy as possible.
Believe it or not, we are in the home stretch of 2024 and I want to remind you to make the most of your Dental Insurance benefits before they expire. Most plans reset on January 1, and if you don’t utilize your benefit dollars before December 31st they will disappear. If you have outstanding dental work that needs to be completed, or if you haven’t made it in for your regular cleaning and exam, please call the office to schedule. The hygienists and Doctors do get busy at the end of the year, so it’s best to plan ahead, particularly if you have a college student coming into town for a limited time!
As always, thank you for trusting my staff and I with your dental care needs, and referring your friends and family. The best part of my job is seeing and connecting with you all on a regular basis. I wish you a Happy Fall and wonderful holiday season!
Best Wishes,
Stefanie Shore, DDS
