Autumn Greetings

Hello Patients and Friends,
Autumn is my favorite time of year—when the days get shorter and cooler, the leaves turn beautiful colors and the holidays are on the horizon. It’s also starting to feel (mostly) back to normal in our office.
I’m posting this entry to share a few updates from us in Suite 240. The California Department of Public Health is still requiring masks in all Healthcare facilities, including Dental offices. Please continue to wear a mask to your appointments. We always have masks available for those who forget, but we do still require it at all times of everyone in the office except during active dental treatment.
You will continue to see Jennifer at the front desk as my dedicated and valued Office Manager, but she does have great back-up in Tina and Trina, whom you may also speak to on the phone or see in the office.
Jackie, Rachelle and Christina are our fantastic assisting team and they are now joined by Kristen, our new Hygiene Assistant. Speaking of the Hygiene crew, we have a dedicated group that works so hard every day to keep you all clean and healthy—Joyce, Carol, Sydney and Stephanie are all wonderful clinicians, and we are lucky enough to have Inessa back after her maternity leave helping a few days a month.
We are working hard to keep all of our patients on schedule for their cleanings but it has been challenging with staff summer vacations and illness causing the need for cancellations. Please help us out by keeping your appointments when at all possible, alerting us ahead of time when you’re unable to make your appointments and being flexible about the Hygienist you see. That will really help our staff keep everyone up to date and as healthy as possible.
Believe it or not, we are in the home stretch of 2022 and I want to remind you to make the most of your Dental Insurance benefits before they expire. Most plans reset in the new year and if you don’t utilize your benefit dollars before December 31st they will disappear. If you have outstanding dental work that needs to be completed or if you haven’t made it in for your regular cleaning and exam, please call the office and speak to Jennifer or Trina to schedule. Our schedule does get busy towards the end of the year so it’s best to plan ahead.
As always, thank you for trusting my staff and I with your dental care needs. The best part of my job is seeing and connecting with you and your families on a regular basis.
I wish you a happy Fall and wonderful holiday season!
Best Wishes,
Stefanie Shore, DDS
