Autumn Update 2021
Hello Patients and Friends,
Autumn is my favorite time of year—when the days get shorter and cooler, kids are back in school (hooray!) and the holidays are on the horizon. Many of you visit us just twice a year, so I wanted to update you on the latest news here at the office.
We have some new staff members to introduce to you. Rachelle is a Registered Dental Assistant who has worked in dentistry for seven years. She will be joining Jackie and Christina in keeping our office running smoothly and being chairside with me during your appointments. Although she will be wearing a mask and you won’t see her smile, Rachelle is a fun, happy and positive addition to our staff! You may also see Nataliya, our new Dental Assistant, as she helps our Hygiene team with cleaning their rooms, sterilizing instruments and running our office sterilization systems. I’m also happy to report that we have a new hygienist, Armineh, that will be seeing patients three days a week, replacing both Emily and Amy. Armineh has been a Registered Dental Hygienist for more than 20 years and she brings a fresh and fun personality to the office. I hope you will join me in welcoming all of them.
Our office continues to maintain strict compliance with all current OSHA standards regarding PPE and Covid protocols. They do change frequently, but we do our best to keep up! We are also in compliance with State mandates requiring Healthcare workers to be vaccinated or tested weekly. One thing that has remained constant throughout is the requirement for patients and staff to remain masked in our office except during active dental treatment.
Believe it or not, we are in the home stretch of 2021 and I want to remind you to make the most of your Dental Insurance benefits before they expire. Most plans reset on January 1st and if you don’t utilize your benefit dollars they will disappear at the stroke of midnight. If you have outstanding dental work that needs to be completed or if you haven’t made it in for your regular cleaning and exam, please call the office and speak to Jennifer or Cassidy to schedule. Our appointments do get booked up towards the end of the year so it’s best to plan ahead.
As always, thank you for trusting my staff and I with your dental care needs. The best part of my job is seeing and connecting with you and your families on a regular basis. I wish you a Happy Fall and wonderful holiday season!
Best Wishes,
Stefanie Shore, DDS
