Letter to Our Patients Regarding COVID-19
To our Valued Patients,
As our community copes with the fast-moving spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus, we hope you and your families remain in good health during these stressful times.
The American Dental Association and California Dental Association have strongly recommended that all dentists and dental specialists voluntarily suspend non-essential and non-urgent care until further notice. As you are aware, the recommendations change quickly. At this time, we have decided to cancel all routine appointments until April 10th, and may have to extend the cancellations further depending on the situation at that time. Any patient with an appointment that need to be cancelled or rescheduled will be contacted soon by a member of our team.
By seeing emergency patients only, we are helping to preserve PPE (personal protective equipment) for our medical colleagues, and keeping our patients from seeking care at already busy Emergency Rooms.
We will still be answering phones and fielding emails and texts if you have any questions or concerns. If you are having pain or problems, please call us to schedule an emergency appointment. Our office continues to follow strict infection control guidelines and has instituted a few more measures to keep our patients and staff safe.
We will contact you when we are able to renew our patient care as usual. We thank you for your patience during this very unusual time, and hope to see you when we re-open, happy and healthy!
Your health and safety are our utmost priority and we apologize for any inconvenience to you. We encourage you and your family to stay safe, stay home as much as possible and practice social distancing to help prevent spread of the virus.
Please contact us at 916-966-4341 or jp.shoredds@gmail.com if you are having a dental emergency or have any questions.
Best wishes to you and your families,
Stefanie Shore, DDS and Staff
